Primary objective
The construction coordinator is the focal point within the Contract team for all construction matters.
Specific Accountabilities
- Responsible for ensuring construction input into the design by way of constructability reviews
- Coordinates with Procurement function to establish material delivery requirements and ROS dates.
- Coordinates with the Controls function in the development of Construction and Installation Schedules.
- Assists in determining appropriate construction contracting strategies.
- Assists in preparation of Construction Contracts.
- Assist in Construction Contractor Prequalification
- Identification and line supervision of Construction Superintendents and Construction Supervisors.
- Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system.
- Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project.
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience
- Effective technical and practical safety & risk design and drafting skills ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to WorleyParsons and its clients.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
- Competent skills in design software.
- Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
Required:
A recognised and relevant qualification or equivalent.
