Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Chemist to join our NR Laboratory team in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for conducting advanced chemical analyses, interpreting data, and ensuring quality control in our state-of-the-art facility.
- Perform complex chemical analyses on natural rubber samples using various analytical techniques
- Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for NR testing and characterization
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, preparing comprehensive technical reports
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and quality assurance
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the laboratory's information management system
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a chemistry laboratory setting, preferably with focus on NR analysis
- Proficiency in analytical chemistry techniques, including spectroscopy, chromatography, and thermal analysis
- Strong knowledge of chemical safety protocols and laboratory best practices
- Expertise in NR (Natural Rubber) chemistry and familiarity with rubber industry standards
- Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant certifications in laboratory safety and chemical handling (preferred)
