About the Role
This position supports a wide range of Aeronautics Business Development initiatives across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the broader Middle East region. The Aeronautics KSA Country Manager will play a key role in building and sustaining strategic customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and guiding cross-functional teams in support of regional growth and engagement objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
The KSA Country Manager will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining high-level relationships with key stakeholders across the KSA and Middle East defense ecosystem. This includes government officials, military leaders, industrial partners, and other influencers across the domains of combat air, air mobility, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR). The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for regional customers, effectively representing Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and advocating for customer requirements across both existing and future platforms.
This role requires deep regional insight and the ability to translate political, military, and industrial dynamics into actionable strategies for the business. The KSA Country Manager will be the go-to subject matter expert on the local operating environment, providing situational awareness, stakeholder mapping, and guidance to inform internal decision-making.
As a key interface between Lockheed Martin and its regional stakeholders, the Country Manager will lead internal teams in the development of strategic briefings, capability presentations, white papers, and tailored information packages that communicate the value of Lockheed Martin solutions. These materials will be used to engage and educate senior government, military, and industry leaders.
Additionally, the KSA Country Manager will collaborate closely with Lockheed Martin’s enterprise strategy teams, other business areas, and regional offices to ensure alignment of capture and pursuit efforts across the corporation. They will also support the Director, Global Pursuits – Middle East, in shaping long-term strategies, pursuing targeted opportunities, and facilitating cross-functional coordination on regional initiatives.

This position requires compliance with all applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations. The selected candidate must be eligible to access and handle export-controlled information and may be subject to screening per U.S. and international requirements.
- Executing country-specific strategies in support of corporate business objectives
- Coordinating closely with program teams, legal, compliance, finance, and government affairs functions to ensure cohesive planning and execution
- Navigating complex political and regulatory landscapes to ensure alignment with U.S. and host nation laws and policies
- Supporting key events such as trade shows, senior leadership visits, and customer engagement campaigns
- Monitoring competitive activity and market trends to inform strategy and positioning
- Demonstrated effectiveness in verbal, written, and visual communication across multiple audiences and cultural contexts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure
- Experience with budgeting, expense reporting, and financial reconciliation processes, including coordination with Accounting Centers in Singapore and Riyadh
- Understanding of international business development practices, with the ability to provide operational and administrative support to global campaigns
- Experience working in or with the Middle East region, preferably within the defense, aerospace, or government sectors
- Prior experience with U.S and Saudi defense industry or international government relations
- Fluency in Arabic would be desirable
- Knowledge of U.S. export control laws and compliance requirements, including ITAR and EAR
