As a business manager/finance manager, you will be responsible for handling the financial transactions, analyzing financial reports, and monitor investment activities. You will strategize effective techniques to boost the company’s financial performance and identify business opportunities to increase revenues. You will be able to drive performance in a fast-paced environment, operating across a complex structure to provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Contracts & Pricing
- Review and approve client budgets across multiple departments
- Facilitate contract negotiations between clients, vendors, internal teams, and legal
- Ensure projects align with business terms and develop summary sheets for account teams
- Client Reporting & Audits
- Deliver monthly budget-to-actual reporting to account teams
- Coordinate and compile data for client audits
- Financial Analysis & Planning
- Review client fee phasing and expense detail with senior finance and client leads
- Manage accounts receivable across client portals (Etimad, GFS, and others)
- Analyze client budgets, explain variances, and support forecasting
- Assist in annual revenue and staffing budgets
- Prepare monthly financial packages and provide insights on trends and projections
- Identify opportunities to improve client profitability, utilization, and revenue health
- Revenue Recognition & Project Reconciliation
- Review monthly fees for compliance with revenue recognition policies
- Oversee project reconciliation to ensure financial integrity
- Billing & Cash Flow Management
- Liaise between account teams and billing
- Review WIP, write-offs, and ensure timely service order processing
- Monitor AR health and support credit risk mitigation
- Project & Resource Management
- Lead project setup processes and manage large or complex initiatives
- Support profitability through better client and resource management
- Collaborate with HR and leadership on resourcing needs and budget alignment
Knowledge & Skills
- 7+ years of finance and accounting experience
- Bilingual, reading and writing Arabic at professional level.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and CPA, MBA, or public accounting experience is a plus.
- Knowledge infinancial systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday or any other ERP system) and strong Microsoft Excel skills isa must.
- Team player with proven ability to work cross-functionally and across multiple stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives.
- Capacity to manage a busy workload and tight deadlines.
