Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Assistant Manager - Specialized Data Services to join our fast-evolving team. In this role, you will focus on delivering specialized data services, enabling informed decision-making and strategy execution throughout the organization.
The Assistant Manager – Specialized Data Services will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and delivery coordination of data products within the organization. This role combines strong quality assurance practices with project coordination and governance support to enable smooth execution across data initiatives. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring data products meet high standards while supporting the tracking and reporting of delivery milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and execute robust quality assurance procedures to systematically verify that our data products not only meet but exceed established performance and reliability benchmarks, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Develop comprehensive testing strategies tailored to various project needs, conduct rigorous system and user acceptance tests, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, address, and resolve any defects and discrepancies that may arise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses to identify underlying issues, monitoring and implementing corrective measures that not only rectify discrepancies but also drive ongoing product enhancement and innovation.
- Maintain meticulous and comprehensive records of all QA activities, including detailed test scenarios, execution results, and outcomes, ensuring full traceability and transparency in our quality assurance process.
- Encourage the adoption of standardized quality assurance methodologies across all data projects, aligning practices with Data Office guidelines to ensure consistency and reliability in our outputs.
- Project Coordination & Delivery Support
- Oversee Jira boards diligently to effectively track tasks, manage sprints, and monitor overall delivery progress among teams, ensuring that all project milestones are achieved on time and within scope.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience inn QA, PMO coordination, or delivery support roles in data or tech environments.
