Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Facility Manager to support the daily operations and management of our facilities portfolio. The ideal candidate will assist the Facility Manager in ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards, services are delivered efficiently, and client satisfaction is achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day facility operations across assigned sites.
- Supervise contractors and service providers (cleaning, security, HVAC, landscaping, etc.).
- Support in preparing and managing maintenance schedules, inspections, and reports.
- Monitor budgets, track expenses, and assist in cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Respond to tenants’/clients’ requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with vendor management, contract administration, and performance evaluations.
- Support Facility Manager with project planning, renovations, and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in facility management, property management, or related field.
- Knowledge of HVAC, MEP, safety standards, and building maintenance systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
