Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day construction activities within assigned project area, ensuring compliance with safety, schedule, cost, and quality goals.
Supervise and coordinate work of subcontractors, direct labor, and other field personnel.
Monitor progress and performance; provide regular reports to project leadership on schedule, risks, and issues.
Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and site-specific safety procedures.
Interface with engineering teams to resolve design or construction issues and implement field changes when required.
Lead daily coordination meetings with subcontractors, field supervisors, and safety staff.
Participate in site inspections, audits, and quality assurance activities to ensure conformance to technical and contractual requirements.
Support planning, resource allocation, and logistics for assigned area.
Liaise with client representatives and third parties as needed for inspections or area-specific coordination.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, or efficiency gains.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Mining, or Construction Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Experienced in large-scale construction projects, with experience in a leadership role on mining or heavy industrial projects.
Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors on-site.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
Familiarity with construction management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, etc.).
Sound knowledge of construction safety and quality systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a remote site-based environment under challenging conditions.
