Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise in DCS applications.- Design, configure, and implement DCS solutions according to customer specifications.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop new features and enhancements for our DCS products.
- Provide on-site support during system installation, commissioning, and start-up.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in DCS technology to provide cutting-edge solutions.
- Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and their applications, acquired through coursework, projects, or internships.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or Python, demonstrated through academic projects or personal coding experience.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC, Modbus, Profibus) gained through coursework or practical projects.
- Basic knowledge of process control systems and instrumentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and customers.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation and support, if required.
- Any relevant internships, co-op experiences, or extracurricular activities demonstrating a passion for control systems and automation would be a plus.
